How to use depression medication successfully
A new type of medication called depression medication has been developed by a group of researchers and is expected to be available for prescription within the next two years.
A study published by the journal BioMed Research International (BMRI) is the first to report the efficacy of the medication.
The research team, led by Dr. Ayelet Avraham, professor of psychiatry and behavioral sciences at the University of California, San Francisco, used a computer simulation to compare the effectiveness of depression medications between a group with bipolar depression and a group without bipolar depression.
The researchers said that the medication could be used to treat people with bipolar disorder with lower rates of adverse events, including depression, anxiety and insomnia.
The study is the latest in a series of reports on the effectiveness and safety of antidepressants and other mood and cognitive-behavioral therapies.
In recent years, the drug-maker AstraZeneca has begun a clinical trial of the new drug.
A trial is expected in the coming months.
The new medication is based on the work of Dr. Avraham and Dr. Sanna Yochenberg, a professor of pharmacology and psychiatry at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and their team, which includes researchers at the Universities of Oxford and Oxford and the University College London.
The trial will enroll people with mild-to-moderate symptoms of depression, such as insomnia, mood swings, and poor appetite.
The medication also helps people with anxiety disorders.
The scientists used a database of over 2.5 million people to create an algorithm to assess the effectiveness in treating people with depression.
Their goal was to compare people who were receiving antidepressants to people with other disorders, like autism spectrum disorder, substance use disorder or substance abuse.
Dr. Avrafzak told Bloomberg that the new medication was developed as a “new approach” to treating bipolar depression that would be safer, easier to take and less expensive than traditional medications.
He said that antidepressants were “an expensive way of treating depression.”
The medication is not FDA-approved and is currently being tested by a handful of universities in Europe and North America.
